Project Overview The purpose of this solicitation is to invite qualified contractors to submit bids for the replacement of an existing roof with a new 24-gauge standing seam metal roof. This project includes all necessary materials, labor, and equipment required to complete the roof replacement in accordance with the specified scope of work The work must be completed on time and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. II. Scope of Work The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following components: 1. Roof Replacement o Install a new 24-gauge standing seam metal roof with a blue color unless otherwise specified in the project. o Roof panels must be mechanically attached to structural lathes such as purlins or hat channels. 2. Lathe Installation o Install lathe strips securely through the existing roof structure into the building's structural frame, ensuring proper alignment and stability. 3. Insulation o Apply unfaced blanket insulation between the existing and new roof to enhance thermal efficiency and ensure a quality energy-efficient system. 4. Materials o The contractor shall provide all necessary materials including, but not limited to, roofing panels, lathe strips, fasteners, insulation, flashing, trim, and sealants. 5. Labor o The contractor shall provide all labor necessary for roof installation, project management, and necessary support staff throughout the project's duration. 6. Cleanup and Disposal o The contractor shall ensure daily cleaning and removal of debris from the site. A final cleanup and restoration of the site must be completed upon project completion to ensure that the site is left in a clean and safe condition. The project is expected to begin on May 19, 2025, and must be completed by June 13, 2025. The contractor must submit a detailed project schedule that outlines key milestones, including the start and completion of each phase of work.
