Reference number: 20063739 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2025-04-24 The Conseil de la Nation Innu Matimekush Lac-John, located on the Côte-Nord, is only accessible by air or rail. The work covered by this contract involves street reconstruction for lots 1 and 12, including complete road repair and installation of a new storm drainage system. The work includes preparation of the residential back lots (Lots #12), involving extension of the water and sewer networks and service connections. The mandate includes electrical work to install electrical distribution and control panels to operate the new street lighting network to be built, as well as the aqueduct heating cable network. In addition, the work also includes the implementation of a soil management plan including all management, excavation, backfilling, storage and transportation of soils that are highly impacted by metals or contaminants, as indicated in the plans and specifications. Work on the site is scheduled to start in 2025, with priority given to the management of impacted/contaminated back lot soils. Work may be spread over two years. All work must be completed by December 31, 2026.
