Renovation of an educational facility in Wabash, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project will be constructed under a Single Prime Contract with the Owner, with Prime Contract Bids received each on a lump sum basis. Each Bid Proposal shall include all labor, material, construction, and services necessary to complete the project in strict accordance with the Bidding Contract Documents. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security, which shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid, in the required form and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Security shall be a Bid Bond from a surety company, a certified check or a cashier's check. See the Instructions to Bidders for additional information. No bid shall be modified, withdrawn or cancelled for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after the date and time set for receipt of Bids. All bidders shall be a Certified Garland Roof installer. The Bidder shall submit a properly executed Contractor's Qualification Statement, AIA Document A305 with the Bid Proposal. Bidders may attend a pre-bid conference with representatives of the Owner and Architect to discuss demolition sequence, securities, contractor's work and storage areas and requirements for contractor's personnel working on the Project. No additional costs of any type will be allowed by the failure of the Bidder to avail himself of the privilege of on-site inspection and pre-bid conference. Wabash City Schools, Wabash, Indiana reserves the right to reject any and all Bids; is not obligated to accept the lowest or any other Bid; and may waive any formalities in bidding procedure.
