Proposals are requested for the purchase of the following supplies by the City of Wabash Street Department for 2026: unleaded gasoline, diesel fuel premium #2 fuel oil (delivered and picked up), #2 crushed stone (picked up and delivered), #23 sand (picked up and delivered), #53 crushed stone (picked up and delivered), #73 crushed stone (picked up and delivered), HMA 9.5mm Surface Type B (delivered, laid & rolled, and picked up), HMA 19.0mm Intermediate Type B (delivered, laid & rolled, and picked up), raised manholes, inlets & catch basins, cold mix-bituminous patching (picked up), tack coat-applied, 4” and 6” concrete cast in place sidewalk, sidewalk removal, concrete curb (rolled and 20”), and curb removal. All asphalt, concrete, and aggregate items must meet the current Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Standard Specifications. Bidders for petroleum products must provide five business days’ written notice before any price change becomes effective. Purchases will be made based on necessity and price at the time of purchase, with no guarantee of minimum purchase amounts during 2026. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as specified to the Clerk-Treasurer. Proposal forms and a complete list of specifications must be picked up at the Clerk-Treasurer’s office. Bidders must submit their proposals and a notarized non-collusion affidavit on the provided forms and acknowledge receipt of the proposal packet. All bidders must comply with relevant legal and local ordinance provisions. Proposals must specify immediacy of delivery and availability. The Purchasing Agent may reject any or all proposals and waive irregularities. Proposals must be held open for at least 60 days from the opening for evaluation purposes.
