The Hendersonville WWTF HVAC Systems Replacement project consists of the safe disconnection, removal, and disposal of the existing, damaged HVAC and building mechanical systems at the City of Hendersonville's WWTF Administration Building, Recycle Pumping Station, and Influent Pump Station. The damaged equipment at the Administration Building includes one (1) air-cooled chiller; one (1) heating hot water boiler; two (2) hydronic in-line pumps (chilled and heating hot water) with associated piping; three (3) pad-mounted and two (2) ceiling-mounted air handling units with associated ductwork. Damaged equipment at the Recycle Pumping Station includes one (1) lower-level electric unit heater, and the damaged equipment at the Influent Pump Station includes one (1) lower-level electric unit heater. The project also involves the procurement and installation of new HVAC and building mechanical systems of all the equipment listed above in full compliance with the project specifications. Additionally, the contractor will perform comprehensive testing of all newly installed systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to industry standards, and will provide training to City personnel on the operation and maintenance of the new systems. Each Bidder must be licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statute. All bids must include a non-collusion affidavit and a complete Certification Regarding Lobbying. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The City reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any and all proposals for any reason determined to be in the best interest of the City, except for the purpose of evading the bid laws. If less than three sealed bids are received at the time of bid opening, no bids will be opened. The Project has an expected duration of 210 calendar days.
