Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Greenfield, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a 10,700-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
Project Description: The proposed 10,700 sf fire station will utilize pre-engineered metal building structure and metal stud interior framing. There is an approximately 2,740 sf multi-use area that includes offices, meeting space, restrooms, hardened storm area, storage and decon room. Also included is an approximately 445 sf storage mezzanine. Exterior finishes will consist of pre-finished metal wall panels by the metal building manufacturer. All required site, framing, finishing, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work shall be included under this contract. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. 1. Bid security shall be made payable to the City of Greenfield, Iowa and will be held by the Owner. In case the bid is accepted and the Bidder neglects or refuses to enter into contract and furnish bond in accordance there with, the bid security will be forfeited. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers. Question Deadline 05/08/2025
