The project is for the Greenfield Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation, Contract 1-2026. The work includes approximately 28,000 linear feet of cured in place pipe lining, covering 6-inch through 15-inch pipe. It also includes three internal point repairs, nine dig repairs, eight new manholes, and replacement of approximately 212 feet of 12-inch sewer. Bidders are required to obtain bidding documents from specific sources and submit a bid security equal to 5% of their maximum bid price. Bidders must comply with federal wage rates, the President's Executive Order No. 11246 (Equal Employment Opportunity), and the wage requirements prescribed by the federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts. All iron and steel products used on the project must be produced in the United States and comply with American Iron and Steel requirements. Preferences may be given to products and provisions grown in Iowa, and resident bidders may have certain preferences over nonresident bidders depending on the laws of the nonresident bidder's home state. The contract award will be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The City of Greenfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. Addenda will be issued not later than three business days prior to the time and day set for receiving Bids. Failure of any Bidder to receive any such Addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such Bidder from any obligations under the Bid as submitted. All Addenda so issued shall become part of the Contract Documents.
