Adair County Health System is preparing to advance Phase 3 of its construction improvement program, evaluating the role of the Outpatient Clinic, Specialty Clinic, and any other priority services in the upcoming project. A two-phase selection process will be utilized for selecting firms. In Phase I, a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will be issued, and respondents will be evaluated based on firm background and experience, qualifications of proposed personnel, safety record, insurance and bonding capacity, and litigation history. Only qualified firms will move to Phase II, where shortlisted firms will be invited to submit proposals, including fees and other required information. Selection will be based on a best-value determination according to published evaluation criteria. The project is in the Pre Design Phase, with construction anticipated to begin in late fall or early winter, subject to contract approval. Adair County Health System (ACHS), a critical access hospital serving Adair County and surrounding southwest Iowa communities, will start a Phase 3 facility expansion focused on outpatient clinic services. The project will evaluate the development of a new addition to the existing hospital campus, anticipated to range between approximately 4,000 and 8,000 square feet. 3/27/2026 @ 5:00PM RFQ Questions Due, All questions and submissions should be sent to: a.
