All bids shall include providing all labor, equipment, and materials or other things necessary to complete the project 1) Approximately 1.40 miles of placing and grading soil cement base including prime on Lake Way Road. The contractor will be responsible for designing soil cement mix based on test sampling of subgrade. Project begins at intersection of Hwy 319 and ends at Lovette Road. o Soil Cement base width is 26 feet and 6 inches in depth o Prime and sand 2) Approximately 1.40 miles of triple surface treatment paving on Lake Way Road using #5, #7, and #89 stones along with a Cationic Polymer Modified Rapid Curing Fog Seal. Fog seal shall be placed on project within one week of #89 stone placement. Project begins at Hwy 319 and ends at Lovette Road. o Fog Seal applied at rate of .12 gallons per SY over top of #89 stone o Approximately 19,712 SY o Pavement width is 24 feet o Temporary center line striping and permanent 5 "center and edge striping FOG SEAL REQUIREMENTS: The fog seal will be used to lock down and secure aggregates on the surface treatment. The material must be applied hot (140-160 degrees). The surface temperature of the roadway shall be 60 degrees Fahrenheit and rising before application shall begin. The material must be rapid curing and must allow traffic to be returned to roadway within one hour after application (For example purposes only: Southeast Emulsions Fastblack). 3) Approximately 0.35 miles of triple surface treatment paving on MULLIS LANE/JACK JAMES RD using #5, #7, and #89 stones. Project begins at David Mullis Road to dead end. o Approximately 3700 SY o Pavement width is 18 feet o No striping The successful bidder will submit certificate of workers comp., liability insurance and e-verify compliance when the bid is awarded. Payment and performance bonds or if the amount is less than $100,000 an irrevocable letter of credit from a local bank in the amount of 100% of the project cost will also be required. Project must be completed by August 1st 2025. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
