Closing Time: 2:00 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/04/29 02:00:00 PM NDT The NI C is seeking proposals from qualified suppliers for Cleaning Services at it's retail location in Port aux Basques, NL. The proponent shall quote a lump sum price to supply all labour, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the proper performance of cleaning services. The Contractor shall provide a qualified cleaning person for a minimum of 3 hours per day, 7 days per week, between the hours of 8am and noon, except as on statutory holidays covered under the "Shops Closing Act". The Work under this contract shall include but not necessarily be limited to the following: 1. The Contractor shall provide cleaning and maintenance services for the Corporation's premises described in Appendix "E". 2 Unless otherwise specified, the cleaning and maintenance services shall include all necessary (scent free) cleaning and maintenance materials and supplies and shall include those items listed herein. 3. The cleaning and maintenance services referred to in Paragraph 1 shall be performed all in accordance with the specifications set out herein. It is agreed that these specifications list the minimum services required and that this minimum must be provided at all times during the term of this Agreement. 4While engaged in the performance of the cleaning and maintenance services, all employees of the Contractor shall: a. Display identification cards or badges at all times; b. Sign in and sign out at any time when entering or leaving, as the case may be, the Corporation's Premises; C. Present a clean, neat and orderly identified appearance; d. Schedule their activities so that the Corporation's operations are in no way interfered with and, in particular, act with discretion, tact, and courtesy in all phases of their duties; e. Turnover any keys issued to them by the Corporation or its agent, with the exception of any keys to storage areas and lockers contained in the said storage areas at the end of the work day; f. Observe all safety measures respecting personnel and become familiar with the use of fire extinguishers, fire hoses, fire alarms, and their location in their areas of work; 1 Commercial General Liability Insurance a. Without restricting the generality of GC17 of these General Conditions, the Contractor shall provide and maintain, either by way of a separate policy or by an endorsement to their existing policy, Commercial Liability Insurance acceptable to the Owner and subject to limits set out in detail in the Certificate of Insurance, attached to these General Conditions inclusive per occurrence for bodily injury, death, and damage to property including loss of use thereof. b. This insurance shall include as an additional insured the Newfoundland Labrador Liquor Corporation. The Contractor shall not commence any Work until they obtain, at their expense, all required insurances as specified in these General Conditions. Such insurance must have the approval of the Director and be to the limits, form and amounts specified. The Contractor will not permit any Subcontractor to commence Work on this Contract until the Subcontractor has complied with the same insurance requirements. C The insurance shall also include as Unnamed Insured the architectural and engineering consultants of the Owner, if any, with respect to Work performed by the Contractor, but excluding professional liabilities associated with such architectural and engineering. consultants. d. The Commercial General Liability Insurance will not be limited to, but shall include coverage for: i Premises and operations liability Products or completed operations liability Blanket contractual liability iv. Broad form property damage V. Cross liability vi. Elevator and hoist liability vii. Contingent employer's liability vill. Personal injury liability ix.
