The Westside Pump Station and Force Main Project in Deschutes County, Oregon consists of constructing a sewage pump station, a force main, and related improvements. The Project consists of constructing an inlet manhole and sewer, a sewage pump station with triplex submersible configuration, a CMU building, a bypass sewer pipe and manhole, an 8" PVC force main with air-release valve assemblies and blow-off assemblies, and related improvements. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. No bid will be considered unless the required forms are fully completed and submitted in the manner prescribed and are accompanied by a bid security, executed in favor of the Owner, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total amount of the bid. This contract is for public work being financed by the City of Sisters. The contracting agency may cancel the procurement or reject any or all bids according to ORS 279B.100. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. Provide the materials, equipment, labor, supplies, and services necessary to furnish, install, test and place into service wastewater system improvements according to the Contract Documents. The Work of the Project includes, but is not limited to construction of the following items: 1. The Westside Pump Station and associated improvements on a 50-foot square easement, and an adjacent public right of way and easement. 2. An 8-inch force main with associated trenching, valve assemblies, appurtenances, pavement restoration, and related improvements along public rights of way. B. Before undertaking each part of the Work, the Contractor shall carefully study the Contract Documents and confirm field measurements. Contractor shall promptly report in writing to the Engineer any conflict, error, ambiguity, or discrepancy which the Contractor discovers or has actual knowledge of. C. Contractor shall coordinate the Work to accommodate activities by users of the public rights of way at and near the project location. 1. Contractor shall submit schedule updates, provide notifications, attend meetings, and perform other coordination tasks specified or otherwise necessary to coordinate the Work with the Engineer and Owner. 2. No additional compensation beyond the Contract Price will be paid for cooperating and coordinating construction activities with other legal uses of the public rights of way.
