Mow and masticate multiple acres of brush to prepare sites for future reforestation efforts. Most vegetation consists of brush suitable for industrial mowing implements, and the terms mow and mastication are used interchangeably. Brush roads and ditches according to specifications to improve access and driving conditions. Furnish a Type 2 excavator with a minimum of 111 horsepower and weighing at least 30,000 pounds, equipped with forestry grousers, along with a mower with a mastication head. Provide qualified operators with sufficient skill and experience to perform all required work. Complete all work in accordance with the specifications provided in Attachment 3 - Statement of Work. The performance period is from approximately March 30, 2026, through November 30, 2026. Quotes must include pricing for all items and responses to the evaluation factors. Submit questions at least three days before the quote due date and submit completed quotes by February 25, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. PST. Location: Umpqua National Forest, Sisters Ranger District, primarily in the area of Trout Creek Butte, Township 15S, Range 09E, Sections 1-36, Deschutes County, Oregon.
