The City will select one firm for the project. At the City's discretion, the City may approve or deny any subcontracted firms listed in the Statements of Qualifications, such as an engineering or marketing firm. The RFQ defines the proposed scope of services and basis for selecting the firm. ADA Inclusive Playground System Design of a modern, inclusive playground that meets ADA standards while providing engaging play opportunities for children of all abilities. Selection of play structures, equipment, and surfacing to ensure compliance with safety and accessibility regulations. Incorporation of a poured rubber surface for enhanced safety, durability, and ADA accessibility. Inclusion of swing sets to accommodate various age groups and inclusive play features (e.g., adaptive swings). 2. ADA Asphalt Walking Trail Design of an accessible walking trail, including alignment, width, and grading to meet ADA standards. Evaluation of surfacing materials to ensure long-term durability and usability. Recommendations for safety features such as lighting, signage, and seating areas along the trail. 3. Addition of Picnic Shelter with Seating Assessment to determine the feasibility of the addition of a Picnic Shelter. Design of a picnic shelter with considerations for aesthetics, durability, and weather resistance. Selection of seating arrangements and materials to enhance comfort and usability. 4. Renovated Asphalt Parking Lot Evaluation of existing parking lot conditions to address drainage issues, wear, and ADA compliance. o Redesign of parking layout for improved vehicle circulation, pedestrian access, and ADAaccessible spaces. Describe the consultant's approach to accomplishing the objectives stated in the RFQ and identify the methodology proposed. The consultant is encouraged to include suggestions and supplemental tasks which may enhance the project or streamline the scope of work and improve cost-effectiveness. State your assumptions clearly. Include the decisions, products, data, and corollary information that the consultant expects to be provided by City staff.
