Prospect Point Resurfacing Project. The scope of work includes resurfacing, striping, and ADA ramp reconstruction along Prospect Point Drive in Villa Hills, KY as identified in the scope of work. Please be aware that construction activities shall not start prior to July 1, 2025. The City of Villa Hills reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and to negotiate with the apparent qualified best bidder to such an extent as may be in the City s best interest. This contract is considered a Lump Sum Contract. The work to be performed under this invitation for bid and resulting contract (the "Contract") consists of providing all equipment, materials, supplies, tools, and supervision necessary to construct the project as detailed in the Bid Form (the "Project"), and specified herein (the "Work"). The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following major items: 1. Provide proposed work schedule to OWNER two weeks prior to work beginning so that OWNER can provide advance notification to residents that will be impacted. 2. Milling existing surface to 1 and 1/2 inches, according to KYTC Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction ("KYTC Standard Specifications") Section 408. 3. Sweeping street surface clear of dust and debris created by milling prior to resurfacing. 4. Milling adjacent to or adjusting manhole and valve box frames to final surface grade prior to resurfacing. To be incorporated with the milling process. Must coordinate with the appropriate utility company. 5. Resurfacing streets to the specified depth, according to KYTC Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction Section 403. Refer to Section 409 for use of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement. 6. Sealing joints with hot-poured sealant according to KYTC Standard Specifications Section 807. 7. Repaint all Line Striping for Centerline, Crosswalks, and Stop Bars in existing locations, according to KYTC Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction Section 713. 8. Maintenance and control of traffic. See Technical Specification 3 - Maintenance of Traffic. 9. Environmental controls including but not limited to erosion, dust control, cleaning of streets, and surface drainage. 10.
