The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. The city also reserves the right to purchase these items through state awarded contracts or other intergovernmental agreements when it is in the best interest of the city. The purpose of this project is to select a firm to develop traffic signal design plans for intersection improvements at two City intersections at Camp Wisdom Road/Bee Dr. (Swainson's Hawk Ln) and Post & Paddock Rd/Paddock Way Drive. The Professional/Firm shall perform necessary services for development of the Traffic Signal Design, including: o Field evaluation and review of site o Identification of site factors such as topography, easements, and encroachments o Identification of utilities located within project areas o Prepare design plans including design sheets, general notes, quantities, probable construction cost estimates (OPCC), and technical specifications o Provide deliverables of a minimum of 60%, 90%, and 100% engineering design plans for construction o Electronic and hard copies of final deliverables The Selected Professional/Firm shall: 1) Commence work promptly after issuance of a contract agreement with the City 2) Make site visits as necessary for analysis, observation, data collection and documentation of existing conditions. 3) Review available existing information, plans and data provided by the City. 4) Provide cost/construction estimates for the traffic signals. SUBMITTAL OF WORK Final submittal of documents for the Traffic Signal Designs shall include: o Two (2) color copies of sealed plans, specifications, and estimates. o Sealed plans in pdf format on flash drive or via electronic drop box for receipt by the City The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
