As of June 6 , 2025 Project has not been awarded , No definite date for rebid Charlotte County Public Schools seeks to contract with a qualified Vendor to providie all labor and materials to prepare areas for sodding, furnishing and placing the sod, watering and rolling in the designated areas, district wide as per specifications, terms and conditions. The intent of the District is to purchase Sod with Installation and rolling on an as required basis. It is the specific purpose of this solicitation to establish a conditional contract for the required materials and service to secure the cost and availability from sources of supply that will give prompt and convenient service. The Contactor must be able to deliver and install quantities as small at 100 square feet to over 10,000 square feet of sod per month. Bidders shall bid unit prices, F.O.B., various site locations within Charlotte County, Florida. The prices bid shall be used for payment and shall include payment in full for all transportation, labor, materials, and equipment used in supplying, delivering, and/or installing said sod. All deliveries shall be made Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., excluding legal holidays, unless otherwise directed by the Districts Maintenance & Operations representative. Deliveries must be scheduled accordingly and will be held to delivery time. SOD 1) Sod shall be Argentine Bahia, St. Augustine (Floratam), or Empire Zoysia and shall be delivered and installed upon request. 2) Purchases of sod will be made by square feet utilizing five (5) different categories: a) Delivery and installation of sod less than 100 square feet b) Delivery and installation of sod more than 100 square feet but less than 2,400 square feet c) Delivery and installation of sod more than 2,400 square feet but less than 7,200 square feet d) Delivery and installation of sod more than 7,200 square feet e) Pickup and/or delivery of sod by the pallet as determined by the District.
