Services to Include: Complete removal (including foundations as applicable) of: o Shed Row Barn, Wooden round pen, feed bunk shed, goat shed, and loafing sheds. See drawings for salvaged materials. o All existing paddock and arena fencing complete, backfill holes left by removal. See drawings for salvaged materials. o Site cleanup including removal of trash, abandoned equipment wood piles, manure piles, small trees and brush as indicated in the drawings o Horse stalls in the main arena. o Add-Alternate 1 o See drawings and summary of work for additional details. Refer to the appropriate drawings and specification sections for further information about installation, preparation methods and components to be provided. The contractor is responsible for including all means and methods necessary to complete this portion of the project. The contract Documents, otherwise referred to as drawings, shall serve as a part of this scope of work showing more detail on the intent of this project. The Contractor is responsible for including all means and methods necessary to complete this project. In general, the work includes, but is not limited to, the following items: 1. See site plan markup for complete understanding of demolition and clean up scope. This list is generic in nature for major items and intended only to give an overview of general project scope. 2. Any holes in the earth left by demolition and removal are to be backfilled and compacted to provide a safe walking surface for DPS horses and personnel. 3. Completely demolish and remove the 24' x 72' shed row barn - salvage the 2x wood boards in the stalls and store on site all other components to be disposed of. 4. Completely demolish and remove wood built round pen. 5. Completely demolish and remove the small feed bunk shed behind arena building. 6. Remove all pipe rail fence around paddocks complete, separate top rail from their posts at the welded connection and salvage the top pipe rails, store on site. 7. Remove wood post fence with electric wire complete. 8. Completely demolish and remove all post and roof covered shelters in all paddock areas. 9. Remove all horse stalls and associated materials in arena barn, clean and prepare area to receive new modular stalls. 10. Completely demolish and remove all wooden fencing around the perimeter of the arena barn. 11. Clean up piles of wood shavings, manure piles, abandoned equipment throughout the entire property. 12. Remove all small trees, brush, and broken fencing on north side of shed row barn at back of property. 13. Clean up and dispose of any/all trash scattered throughout the site, burn items when possible is authorized. 14. Completely clear cut and remove all the trees and shrubs around the water tank, backfill any uprooted trees with compacted sand. 15. Clean out the hay barn completely, remove all pallets, trash and equipment complete. 16. Completely clean out the temporary shed, relocate empty shed in field as directed by owner. 17. Completely demolish and remove the goat shed and all associated fencing. 18. Rough cut / fill / level grade as necessary to provide future drive lanes, walks, hardscape lot as shown.
