Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Hudson, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.

Any proposed equal for a Standard shall be submitted to the Architect no later than ten (10) days prior to the bid opening. If no Addenda are issued in association with the Bidder's request, the proposed Equal shall be considered rejected. To be considered, proposals must be made on the forms furnished with the Construction Documents and must contain the name of every person interested therein. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond (per section 153.571 (ORC) in the amount of (100%) of the highest aggregate amount of the base bid plus all add alternates submitted by the bidder, or a certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of that bid. The Hudson City School District reserves the right to waive informalities, to accept or reject any and all or parts of any and all bids, in whole or part or any combination thereof or award the contract to other than the lowest bidder. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the closing time and receipt of bids. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. This project includes the sitework on the Hudson City Schools' "Central Campus", including: a. Hudson Middle School: 1) Demolition work including; removal of the house on the southeast corner of the intersection of west entrance drive and N. Oviatt Street (Saywell House), including foundations, trees and shrubs, and utilities. 2) Demolition of existing concrete sidewalks, curbing and apron. 3) Widening of the drive including, full-depth asphalt pavement, concrete curbing, apron widening, and walks. 4) Capping of utilities and pavement restoration, and curbing (as applicable) per City of Hudson Standards. 5) New and relocated signage. 6) Grading, topsoil spreading, and seeding. 7) Decorative light fixtures/poles. 8) Other related work as shown and indicated in the Contract Documents. b. Administrative Offices at Evamere: 1) Demolition work including; removal of asphalt pavement, curbing, pedestrian path, bollards, and trees. 2) Installation of new asphalt pavement, concrete walks, and curbing. 3) New crosswalk including solar flashers and crosswalk signs/base. 4) Relocation of fire hydrant and installation of new protection bollards. 5) Grading, topsoil, and seeding. 6) Other related work as shown and indicated in the Contract Documents. 7) Alternate bid work for parking lot paving, curbing, steps, walk, and handrails. c. Note; While the Drawings are being issued as two separate sets for a permitting standpoint, the Base Bid amount shall be for all Base Bid work for both locations on site.
