Site work for a civil project in Springfield, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of August 13, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Rehabilitation of the James River Lift Station consisting of check valve re-placements, installation of electric valve actuators, and other miscellaneous station rehabilitation. Vacuum relief valves will also be installed on the 24" and 36" force mains leaving the lift station. Work of the Project generally includes the replacement of select process equip-ment, equipment and support repairs, coating of the existing piping, and associ-ated electrical improvements within the booster pump station, as well as instal lation of four (4) vacuum relief valve vaults along existing force main. More specifically, the Work includes, but is not limited to, construction of the following: 1. Replacement of all four (4)20-inch check valves and associated piping and instrumentation improvements. 2. Replacement of all four (4)24-inch rubber expansion joints on discharge of pumps. 3. Replacement of existing manual valve actuators (10 total) with auto-mated motorized valve actuators, valve gear boxes, and associated electrical improvements. Contractor to coor dinate with valve manufacturers for appropriately sized valve gear boxes and actuators. 4. For exterior buried 36" plug valve, PV-10-ACT, CONTRACTOR to grade area around valve and construct con-crete pad to support new motorized actuator. 5. Rehabilitation of two (2) concrete pipe supports at discharge piping elbows. 6. Installation of three (3) H2S sensors and associated electrical im-provements. Project No. 22W34260 2. Section 01 10 00 James River Lift Station Rehabilitation Summary. 7. Replacement of existing pump vibration switches and associated electrical improvements. 8. Replacement of power system monitoring equipment. 9. Preparation and recoating of all piping within the pump station. 10. Installation of four (4) vacuum relief valve vaults on existing force mains. 11. Site improvements to support items above. 12. Site electrical improvements to support items above including duct banks, instrumentation and controls.
