Renovation of a library in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,100-square-foot library.
The City of La Crosse, by the undersigned Board of Public Works(BPW), will receive for doing the following public work in the City of LaCrosse, Wisconsin:La Crosse Public Library Interior Renovation The project consists of a limited interior renovation on the first and second floor of the existing library located at 800 Main Street in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The focus of the renovation includes installation of classrooms, study rooms,small and large group meeting rooms/multi-purpose spaces and computer labs.The above public work will be letto the lowest responsible bidder and shall be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for the same now on file with the Engineering Department for the inspection of bidders and in accordance with the prepared form of contract and bond also on file with said Engineering Department. No bid shall be awarded unless accompanied by Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, together with a list of Subcontractors; and no bid shall be received without certified check for not less than 5%,nor more than 10% of the total amount bid or a bid bond for not less than 5% nor more than 10%of the total amount bid.Bidder's Proof of Responsibility paperwork must be on file with the City of La Crosse. The time for commencement of the work shall be no sooner than ten (10) days after Common Council shall have awarded the contract and shall be completed by March 16th, 2026.
