Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Contract will generally involve the replacement of 50 handicap ramps to meet ADA requirements, including 1,284 LF of concrete curb replacements, 7,800 SF of concrete sidewalk replacements, 385 LF concrete cheek wall and 406 SF detectable warning surface. The Contract will also involve property owner concrete replacements including 447.5 LF standard concrete curb, 1,126 LF concrete driveway depression, 2,246 SF concrete driveway apron and the disconnect of 2 EA sump pump lines through the curb. Bids must be accompanied by an electronic copy of a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount for the work detailed in Attachment #1 made payable to Towamencin Township. The Award of the Contract, if a contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, as described in the Instructions to Bidders' Section of the Contract Documents, but the Township reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate bonds with corporate surety issued by companies authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the prescribed forms dated the date of the Contract, or separate Federal or Commonwealth chartered lending institution irrevocable letters of credit in a form accepted and approved by the Township, or separate restrictive or escrow accounts with such lending institutions pursuant to an escrow agreement accepted and approved by the Township, each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, to secure (a) the faithful performance and maintenance of the Contract; and (b) the prompt payment of materials and labor.
