A. This Contract contains the requirements for constructing the Travis County WCID No. 17's Mansfield Water Treatment Plant Stand-by Power Generator project. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and appurtenances necessary to construct this Project. B. The Project is located in the Limited Purpose Jurisdiction of the City of Austin, in Travis County, Texas, as shown in the Plans. C. Upon completion and acceptance, this Project will be owned and operated by Travis County WC&ID No. 17. Travis County WC&ID No. 17ís standards are made part of this Contract. D. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Installation of an Owner purchased 3000 KW Stand-By Power Generator and Automatic Transfer Switch. This includes proper unloading of the equipment when delivered. 2. Installation of the associated concrete foundation, site improvements, electrical and instrumentation. 3. Coordination with Travis County WCID No. 17 to minimize downtimes at the existing Mansfield Water Treatment Plant. E. The Owner is providing the Stand-By Power Generator and Automatic Transfer Switch to be installed by the Contractor as part of this Contract. See Section 01120 ñ Equipment Provided by Owner. The Contractor will be responsible for proper unloading and storage of the equipment. Mansfield Water Treatment Plant Stand-by Power Generator Proposals will only be accepted from Prequalified Contractors. See Section 00210 - Prequalified Contractors for further information. The Project generally consists of installing a 3000 KW prime rated stand-by power generator and automatic transfer switch at the existing Mansfield Water Treatment Plant. The prospective bidder's attention is directed to the Bid Documents where detailed instruction and provisions are contained concerning bidding requirements, bonds, insurance, and other Project requirements. As outlined in the Instructions to Bidders, bids must be accompanied by an acceptable bid security payable to the Owner equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount.
