The purpose of this project is to obtain a service to complete restoration of the detention ponds, removal of sediment, addressing slope erosion now and in the future and provide concrete pilot channels connecting the inflow and outflow structures. Small business goal of 35%. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The period of performance under this Contract shall be for One Hundred Eighty (180) calendar days, unless otherwise extended by METRO. (See Contract Article 'Period of Performance' in Section III). BID SECURITY: Not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price is required if the bid price is over $100,000.00. (See Instructions to Bidders, Paragraph D.) PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: A performance bond shall be required if the Contract amount is over $100,000.00. A payment bond shall be required if the Contract amount is over $25,000.00. Bonds shall be executed for one hundred percent (100%) of the value of the Contract.
