Site work for a fire / police facility in N Miami Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.

A. Layout of Work: The work in general consists of the Contractor providing and installing a 61' x 17' insulated roof structure utilizing 3" insulated panels on an existing asphalt surface. The Structure will serve as a weather resistant canopy between the temporary FORTS units, Kitchen container, and Restroom trailer. B. Scope of Work: 1. Structure / Materials (refer to sheet A-1.0) i. All structure materials shall meet the current Florida Building Code standards. ii. Insulated panels and structure components shall be white in color. iii. Insulated panels shall be 3" thick, 1lb density and a .030" gauge aluminum skin. iv. Aluminum support Box Columns shall be 4"x 4" x 1/8" v. Aluminum Box Beam shall be 2" x 9" x 1/4" vi. Mounting base angle brackets shall be 4" x 4" x 1/4" vii. All mounting and structure hardware shall meet manufacture and building code specifications. 2. Construction i. Contractor shall dig 16"dia x 24" deep support footers in the locations noted on sheet A-0.1. ii. Contractor and MDFR Project Manager will mark out the footer locations to ensure there are no interferences or obstacles. iii. Contractor shall fill footer holes with 3000 psi concrete to meet the surrounding elevation. iv. Contractor shall ensure the concrete has properly cured for a minimum of 7 days before the support brackets are mounted. v. Contractor shall ensure the water shed from the structure moves to the North with a slope of 1/4 ": 1'-0" vi. Contractor shall ensure the height and placement of the structure does not interfere with the temporary FORTS units, Kitchen container, and Restroom trailer. vii. Contractor shall ensure all roof hardware is weather resistant and properly sealed to prevent leakage. All work must be completed 30 days from notice to proceed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES in the amount of $100 per calendar day will be assessed for each day the project is delayed. RFI's The last day for project RFI QUESTIONS is Friday , April 25, 2025 at 5:00 PM. Any questions submitted after aforementioned date shall not be considered. MDFR will review and answer the questions, prior to the bid due date.
