Renovation of a mixed-use development in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Demolition: Existing wood floor and subfloor to be removed and disposed of in accordance with any and all local state and federal laws. Existing VCT tile flooring to be removed in the remainder of the gym, including under the bleachers. Dumpsters to be included in pricing for floor demolition. Floor Preparation: After removal of all existing flooring and mastic. Substrate to be primed with Uzin PE-260 primer. Once the primer has dried, a 1 1/2" thick layer of Uzin NC-147CG self-leveler is to be poured. Allow the first layer to dry completely, then prime with Uzin PE-260. Once the primer has dried, pour a 1/4" layer of Uzin NC- 147CG self-leveler over the entire floor to obtain a flat smooth surface for the new flooring. Install New Floor System: Ecore Baller Motivate or similar product. See below specs for Baller Motivate. Additional Bid Items: o Door transition strips o Black cove molding o Remove and replace current bleachers to replace flooring o Floor lining TBD during walk through o Floor area replacement measurements will be taken during walk through Questions regarding the specifications should be directed to Tom Nelson, Maintenance and Transportation Director.
