The first is for the resurfacing and rehabilitation of the existing roadway with a "Full Depth Reclamation" (FDR) methodology. Additional work will include selective demolition within the roadway and along adjacent sidewalks, protection and modifications to existing manhole and utility structures, installation of new curbs, gutters, sidewalks, ADA curb ramps, and installation of new traffic striping and signage. The second bid package concerns the replacement of several aging sanitary sewer lines and manholes within Haven Drive and adjacent streets that tie into the Haven Drive trunk line. This work shall be coordinated with and must be performed before the FDR work is completed along Haven Drive. Associated work includes locating and verifying existing utility locations (pot holing), creating trenches, providing shoring where necessary, removal of existing sewer pipes and manholes, installation of new pipes and manholes, backfilling trenches, repaving along roads adjacent to Haven Drive, and providing temporary pavement along Haven Drive as necessary prior to the FDR work.
