The City of Paragould is accepting bids for needed equipment and repair of 12 American Signal Tornado Sirens. Bid Specifications are stated herein: ASC T-128 siren head will need to be removed from pole for repair. T-128 head rebuilt with following components: .T-128 48 vdc motor for tempest siren .T-128 Collector Ring Brush Upgrade to Slip Ring . Repair burnt wiring in siren head .Repair fiberglass hood for excessive head damage on top .Repair back of top siren cone hood for excessive head damage.. Grease and service bearings T-128 siren head re-installed on pole and 8 stainless mounting hardware bolts need to be replaced with structural galvanized bolts, flat washers, lock washers and nuts. AC Control Box, DC Control Box, Battery Cabinet will need to be removed from pole. These will be replaced with the following: .ASC AC Control/ Transformer Cabinet .ASC DC Control 48v 120v Aluminum Enclosure .ASC 48v Battery Cabinet The Control Cabinet must include the following: .RTU Door Mount DC Controller .Current Sensor, Tempest Series .FSK, Format Car, for DC Mechanical Sirens .Y-Cable for Dual Daughter Card .Two Tone Sequential, Format Card .RF Backup Battery .4- 12v Main Backup Batteries .Kenwood NX-5700 VHF mobile radio .RG-58 N (M) to UHF (M) jumper .Polyphaser NEMP Lightening Protector .3/8" RG-58 coax kit mounted on cabinet w/N(M) connector .NMOQ-B Antenna Wiring will need to be modified for replacement of New Style Control Cabinets. T-128 siren head replaced back on pole. The City of Paragould reserves the right to reject any and all bids .
