Renovation of an educational facility in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Roof Replacements at Rowan College Location- 900 College Circle, Mount Laurel Township, New Jersey 08054 for the Roof Replacements at Rowan College at Burlington County for: Laurel Hall; Technology Education Center; Science and Votta Hall Buildings. Questions by email will be accepted by Larry Uher at Netta Architects luher@nettaarchitects.com, Written questions must be received no later than 2:00 pm, Friday, May 9, 2025 Bids must be in triplicate (1 Original and 2 Copies) on the proposal forms provided and in the manner designated, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and proposal identification on outside, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond drawn to the order of Rowan College at Burlington County for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid; and must be delivered to the above place on or before the hour named. Rowan College at Burlington County assumes no responsibility for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the dates set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive informalities in the bidding if it is in the interest of Rowan College at Burlington County to do so Certificate of Compliance issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor shall be submitted with bid. In addition, and pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-25.17, each bid must be accompanied by a Certificate from a Surety Company stating it will provide each bidder with separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. If the bid exceeds $20,000.00, the bidder must be prequalified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, prior to the date that bids are received 1. Provide fire retardant treated wood blocking at perimeter of roof and other conditions as indicated on drawings. 2. Provide roof curbs and flashings as indicated on drawings to a minimum of 12-inches above The top surface of the roofing system. Replace all existing support rails. Secure bottom Of roof curbs & rails directly to existing substrate on wood blocking to new required insulation height. 3. Prime existing concrete deck substrate. Provide a 1-ply application of a tri-laminate base sheet vapor barrier in adhesive over primed concrete deck substrate. Lower all drains as required to create a sump. 4. Provide 1 layer of 2.0" isocyanurate board as an insulation base layer and a 1/8-inch per foot tapered polyisocyanurate insulation (w/ 1/2-inch leading edge), as indicated on drawings, set-in low-rise urethane foam adhesive w/ staggered joints. Provide minimum 2'-0" overlap over all layers of insulation. 5. Provide 1/4-inch per foot sloped crickets at high side of roof curbs, penetrations, between Roof drains and as indicated on drawings, set-in low-rise urethane adhesive. 6. Provide 1/8-inch-thick cover board over insulation, set-in low-rise urethane adhesive. 7. Provide 2 base ply tri-laminate sheets set in cold process adhesive over cover board and cant strips. Extend membrane ply sheets up vertical surface of wall a of minimum 4-inches above top of the cant. 8. Provide pvc elvaloy cap sheet set in cold process adhesive. Extend membrane sheet up vertical surface. Minimum 4-inches above top of the cant. Where required and existing as shown on drawings provide a rubatex tube /expansion joint built into the pvc elvaloy cap sheet along rising wall locations. 9. Provide fire rated SBS cap sheet flashing membrane set in cold process adhesive over base ply flashing set in cold process adhesive at all interior and exterior flashing conditions and other conditions as indicated on drawings. 10. Provide metal termination bars and metal counter flashing at wall flashings as indicated on drawings. Provide the same detail for all exposed vertical edge of flashing conditions. 11. Provide pre-manufactured cant dam edge metal system with extenders and scuppers as indicated on the drawings. 13. Provide pre-engineered aluminum metal panel roof system complete with color, structural, and watertight roof system warranty as noted on the drawings and as per specifications. 14. Provide roof expansion joint systems, and any and all accessories, as indicated on drawings. 15. Provide sheet metal flashing and trim as indicated on drawings. 16. Provide rolled lead stack flashing sleeve at all existing piping penetrations. 17. Provide sump pan to match cast iron drain body hub asseombly along with clamping ring and cast iron dome strainer, including bolts, at all new roof drain's locations. Secure new drain hub assembly body to existing drainpipes. 18. Provide clamping ring, strainer and bolts at all existing roof drains locations. 19. Provide walkway pads as indicated on drawings, set in flashing adhesive. 20. Provide premanufactured adjustable pipe supports at 10'-0" o.c. maximum where indicated on the drawings. 21. Provide a 25 year NDL roof system edge to edge warranty. 22. Provide shop drawings for all details. Do not proceed with work with out written approval of all submittals. 23. All metal shall be a minimum of .050 gauge Kynar finish at all locations or stainless steel as noted. Wednesday 09/03/25 Start of Construction Work Friday 11/21/25 Project Final Completion
