The City is requesting proposals to design and construct a new office building located within the City to house its building department at the southeast corner of Pasco Avenue and 4th Street with the following parcel IDs: 26-24-21-0050-00700-0010 and 26-24-21-0050-00700-0060. The scope of work includes full architectural and engineering design services, site development, construction, and post-construction services, including final inspections and handovers to the City. The City of Dade City (the "City"), a municipality located in Pasco County, Florida, hereby requests proposals as further defined in Section 2 of this request for proposals ("Services") from qualified and experienced firms to design and construct a new office building at the southeast corner of Pasco Avenue and 4th Street. The exact budget shall be determined by the design of the structure and any necessary site improvements. The City, for purposes of funding this project, has estimated the cost of building construction and site improvements will not exceed a combined total of $150.00 per square foot. The objective of the project is to construct a concrete block office building that is functional and blends in with its environment, both visually and stylistically. It must meet all local, state, and federal codes and regulations. The building shall incorporate sustainable design principles, energy efficient systems, and ensure compliance with the Florida Building Code. The building must accommodate sixteen (16) employees, provide 4,000-6,000 square feet of office space within a one (1) story structure, with the possibility of expanding to a two (2) story structure in the future.
