"Installation of Year-Round 20' x 21' Aluminum Canopy at the Unexcelled Firehouse in the Township of Neptune, Monmouth County, New Jersey" Bids will be awarded on May20, 2025.Work shall consist of installation of concrete sonotube columns for footings to support a 20' x 21' aluminum tube canopy with a canvas cover fastened to the structure in the location shown on the plan, along with other miscellaneous related construction items, as required. Checks shall be written to the order of Leon S. Avakian, Inc. for each set of documents.Bids must be made on the standard proposal form in a manner designated therein and required by the specifications. They shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to the Neptune Township Fire District No.1 Board of Fire Commissioners, bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, his address and the name of the contract for which the bid is submitted. Bids must be accompanied by a certificate from a surety company stating that it will provide the specified performance and maintenance bonds in the event that the contract is awarded to the bidder. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for ten percent of the amount of the bid, not to exceed$20,000, drawn upon an incorporated bank or trust company, payable to the Neptune Township Fire District No. 1, as guarantee that in case the contract is awarded the bidder, he will, within ten days thereafter execute such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond. The Contract shall be awarded, or all bids rejected, within sixty days from the receipt of bids or within such extensions of time as permitted by law.The Neptune Township Fire District No. 1 Board of Fire Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any informality of any bid.
