Site work for an educational facility in New Iberia, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
Electronic Bids are accepted at online. Each request for contract documents will include written documentation showing the contractors company name,companys state license no., the names of the company's officers; and a signed affidavit from the company's insurance agency certifying to the contracting company's ability to obtain a performance and payment bond with its bonding limits and bonding company's name. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security (certified check, cashiers check or bid bond with power of attorney for an amount equal to 5% of the total bid. Money orders and/ or company checks will not be acceptable.Such security will be no less than 5% of the net amount bid, excluding taxes.Rain days will NOT be accepted. Liquidated damages are $150.00/day. The construction must be substantially completed before August 6, 2025. No work is allowed during standardized testing periods (testing schedule will be provided after bidding) The Iberia Parish School Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.
