This project consists of the replacement of a headwall and multiple sticks of reinforced concrete pipe, as specified within the Bid Documents contained herein. Bids must be submitted electronically on the Bid Form as provided with the Bid Documents. The Bids must be signed by an official authorized to bind the bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days for acceptance by the Town. Bids must be submitted showing the above bid title as reflected on page one (1) of the solicitation document. A Bid deposit is required from all Bidders, equal to five (5%) percent of the Bid amount. These deposits may be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bond. Separate Performance and Material and Labor Payment Bonds equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount will be required from the successful Bidder upon signing of the Contract. All contractors must be properly licensed by the State of South Carolina. This Invitation does not commit the Town to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a Bid, or to procure or contract for the articles of goods or services. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the solicitation, to negotiate with all qualified Bidders, to accept or reject any or all Bids received as a result of this Invitation, to cancel in part or in its entirety and to award or refrain from awarding the project to any Bidder, if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so.
