Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hillsboro, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Hillsboro seeks competitive sealed bids from qualified and experienced firms able to provide construction of roadway, curbs, sidewalks, ADA curb ramps, storm catch basins and laterals, water services and lines, irrigation, trees, signals, lighting, signs, and pavement markings. The Huffman East Widening Improvements Project will widen NE Huffman Street east of NE Brookwood Parkway to add a second eastbound lane and fully activate the capacity at the intersection to meet recent and future growth in NE Hillsboro. The improvements include opening the second southbound left turn lane on NE Brookwood Parkway that has been blocked off awaiting the widening and make associated striping and signal modifications for the new traffic movements. The widening will also build a new public stub street, NE 55th Court, extending south to reestablish vehicular access to and from NE Huffman Street for two business parcels. Some onsite improvements are required on the two business parcels to modify vehicular circulation to new driveways off NE 55th Court that can accommodate tractor trailers.
