The CITY OF NEGAUNEE (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Projects: Downtown Enhancement Project Phase II - Streetscape The Project in general includes: the Installation of concrete sidewalk, inground tree planters, bike/bus shelter pads and related restoration items. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Eastern time and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidding documents also may be examined at online. Make deposit checks for Bidding Documents payable to U.P. Engineers & Architects, Inc. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bid Bond or certified check payable to Owner shall be in an amount no less than 5% of the maximum bid as a guarantee, that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Insurance Certification, as required by the Contract Documents within (10) days after the Notice of Award. Bid may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after bid deadline. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Davis Bacon wage rates are not required for this project.
