Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Negaunee, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of approximately 0.5 mile of road rehabilitation 4 streets throughout the city of Negaunee. The project will include cold milling, gravel, HMA paving, sidewalk, sidewalk ramps, slope restoration, and traffic control. No Bid shall be received unless accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory Bid Bond payable to the Owner in an amount no less than five percent (5%) of the maximum bid as a guarantee, that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Insurance Certification, as required by the Contract Documents within fifteen (15) days after the Notice of Award and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after bid deadline. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Contractors are encouraged to visit the project site and can call the DPW for questions arising during bidding or for more information.
