The Village of Dansville is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional services for the above-mentioned park planning project. The project referenced in this RFQP is anticipated to be funded, in whole or in part, with a NYS Parks Planning grant. The services to be provided will include preparing a feasibility study, public outreach, public interest survey, and initial concept designs for a project to perform upgrades to the park. Request of Qualifications and Price Proposal for Consultants The Village is seeking Statements of Qualifications and a Price Proposal from qualified consultants to assist the Village with the park planning. If your firm is interested in assisting the Village with said park planning, please provide the following information: Scope of Services: 1. Describe your firm's experience in park planning with various municipalities 2. Describe the organization and management effort within the firm 3. Identify the person you propose to work on the project Report and include the resume of said individual(s) 4. Describe the specific scope of services that your firm will provide to assist the Village of Dansville in the planning process including the following: Public Engagement: Include creation and analysis of a communitywide survey as well as hosting two public forums for community members to share their insights. b. Conceptual Design: Prepare a concept plan for Babcock Park based on results of the public engagement and input from the Village. Include attendance at two (2) meeting with the Village to receive input and revise the concept plan accordingly. The finalized concept plan should include park features and facilities, access and parking plan, biking and pedestrian plan, grading and drainage plan, landscape plan, site details, a park plan narrative and a full color park overview. c. Feasibility Study: Opinion of probable cost based on the proposed design. Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises and Section 3 firms are encouraged to submit Statements of Qualifications for planning services. Contract term: 12-24 months The Village reserves the right to conduct or waive interviews at its discretion depending upon the experience and qualifications received from each consultant. In addition, the Village may choose at its sole discretion to solicit separate qualifications and designate another consultant for any of the individual projects undertaken.
