RTU Replacement & Fire Alarm Replacement FOR: IKAN Regional Office of Education AT: 1 Stuart Drive Kankakee, IL 60901 . 1.04 BID A. Forms: 1. The Bid Form used shall be that provided as a part of the Bid Documents. B. Classifications: 1. Bids shall be submitted according to the following classification: a. Bid No. 1)BASE BID RTU Replacement: (to include all base bid 1 work as shown on drawings) b. Bid No. 2) BASE BID Fire Alarm Replacement: (to include all base bid 2 work as shown on drawings) Bond: 1. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, equal to 5% of the Bid, binding the Bidder to enter into contract. Bid Bonds must be from a surety approved by the owner and licensed in the State of Illinois. Bid Bonds will not be returned. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid opening date without the consent of the Owner. PERFORMANCE/PAYMENT BOND A. The successful Bidder(s) shall provide a Performance and Payment Bond for the full amount of their Contract. TheOwner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities in bidding.
