No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after bid opening date. All potential bidders must hold a current Georgia Utility Contractor's License of proper classification and in full force and effect, in compliance with Act. O.C.G.A. 43-14. Contractor must be a qualified natural gas contractor under the laws of the State of Georgia and must comply with any Federal, State, and City guidelines and regulations. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Base Bid. Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by an acceptable Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of Treasury, Circular 570, latest edition. The successful bidder shall give satisfactory evidence to the City of Warner Robins that they and/or sub-contractor carries Worker's Compensation, in accordance with State Worker's Compensation Laws, and public liability and property damage insurance in sufficient amounts to ensure adequate coverage of the work, with the following minimum amounts acceptable: Comprehensive General Liability: 1 Million per Occurrence/2 Million General Aggregate Comprehensive Vehicle Liability: 1 Million Combined Single Limit Worker's Compensation: Statutory, required with 3 or more Umbrella Liability: 5 Million No work required by this bid solicitation shall occur unless and until all required insurance documents are obtained and a purchase order has been issued.
