Reference Number 0000384015 The selected contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the application of herbicides and mowing of designated areas. Services shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Pre-treatment Site Assessment: Conduct an initial site survey to identify areas requiring treatment and determine the most effective herbicide application methods (spring, summer, fall). Herbicide Application: Apply approved herbicides in accordance with industry best practices and manufacturer recommendations (as needed). Mowing and Trimming: Perform regular mowing and trimming of designated areas to maintain a well-manicured appearance. Maintenance of Landscaped Beds: Ensure all landscaped beds are properly maintained, including weed control, edging, and necessary upkeep. Post-application Monitoring: Conduct follow-up inspections to assess the effectiveness of treatment and recommend any necessary retreatment (as needed). Environmental Compliance: Ensure all applications adhere to applicable regulations, including EPA, OSHA, and state pesticide control laws. Safety Measures: Implement safety protocols to protect students, staff, and the public from potential exposure. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of herbicide applications and mowing activities, including date, location, chemicals used, and weather conditions at the time of treatment.
