Site work, paving and remodeling of a mixed-use development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 19,000-square-foot library; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Sacramento is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for general contractors interested in construction of the North Sacramento Hagginwood Library (NSHL) Remodel, located at 1124 Del Paso Boulevard. The facility is owned by the City of Sacramento and operated by Sacramento Public Library Authority through a Joint Powers Agreement. The NSHL project consists of a remodel to an existing building approximately 19,000 square feet. Work includes but is not limited to: a complete interior remodel, a new roof, HVAC equipment, electrical upgrades, lighting, fire alarm, fire sprinklers, site work, parking lot improvements, landscaping, fixed furniture, and other work to transform the building into a turnkey modern library. The City has retained the services of PBK Architects (PBK) and their subconsultants for the complete design of the NSHL remodel. PBK and their consultants are contracted directly through the City of Sacramento and will be involved with the project through completion and serve as the Architect and Engineers of record.
