Newberry Street Reconstruction For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. Scope of Work and Scheduling This project is located on Newberry Street from end of Street near Lincoln Court to N. Pine Street. The proposed improvements include, but are not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment for the reconstruction of the existing concrete roadway, installation of subdrains, reset all existing utility surface features to finish grade, replacement of the adjacent driveway approaches, ADA compliant sidewalk curb ramps, sidewalk replacement, topsoil, sodding, and erosion control. The quantities herein represent the Engineer's estimate of the amount of work to be completed. Actual as-built quantities may vary from bid quantities. The contract time shall be per SUDAS Section 1080-1.02, A.1, Completion Date Contracts. It is anticipated that the contract will be approved on May 28, 2025 and the Notice to Proceed will be issued for an anticipated start date for construction no sooner than July 1, 2025, and once all contract documents have been executed.
