Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waco, Texas. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
New development is being planned and constructed along Lake Brazos on the Brazos River. Existing infrastructure (utilities, riverwalks, trails, roads, etc.) is being rehabilitated or upgraded to accommodate this new development. CLIENT seeks to retain FNI to assist in the preparation of construction and permit documents (Project) for the removal of accumulated sediment at a designated area (See Figure 1) at the southwest corner of the intersection between IH-35 and the Brazos River. The goal is for this sediment removal to aid in the construction of new infrastructure along Lake Brazos in this area. The project is included in the City's 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of May 6, 2025, further details regarding firm construction and completion timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
