Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mississauga, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.

Scope of work - Scarboro Street Bridge Repair over West Branch of Mimico Creek. The Work includes all as shown on the Contract documents and below but is not limited to: - Install erosion and sediment control. - Clearing and grubbing and providing temporary access roads. - Complete closure of the road to the vehicular traffic and closure of sidewalks to pedestrians on Scarboro Street and place proper signage. - Clearing and grubbing including disposal off-site of unsuitable materials. - Tree protection. - Removal of the existing asphalt and waterproofing system on deck and approach grades. - Patch repairs on deck top, soffit, fascia, abutments and wingwall. - Scarifying existing west sidewalk and remove east sidewalk on bridge. - Remove concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks on grade, as shown on Contract Drawings. - Excavate approaches, repair deck ends and construct new approach slabs at both approaches as shown on Contract Drawings. - Concrete removal from top of the wingwalls, ballast walls, parapet wall etc. as shown on the Contract Drawings. - Elimination of the expansion joints. - Installation of waterproofing system on the bridge deck and new approach slabs. - If required adjustment of the Catch Basin to match with the proposed modification work. - Paving of the approaches and bridge deck. - Construct new east sidewalk and provide an overlay on west sidewalk on bridge. - Reconstruct sidewalks, concrete curb and gutter on grade. - Reconstruct top of wing walls, ballast walls, parapet walls etc. as shown on contract Drawings. - Backfill behind the abutment wall, wing walls as shown on Contract Drawings. - Modification to gabion walls. - Restore the site to pre-construction conditions or better. Scope of work - Pedestrian Bridge Over Battleford Road and Trail Work: The Work includes all as shown on the Contract documents and below but is not limited to: - Install erosion and sediment control. - Clearing and grubbing and providing temporary access roads, if required. - Removal of existing abutment and bridge structure. - Installation of new abutments on helical piles. - Installation of new pedestrian bridge on abutments, complete with concrete deck. - Regrading of trails to adjust slope. - Installation of Sienna Stone retaining walls along new trail. - Restore the site to pre-construction conditions or better.
