Demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Springfield, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the addition of a 50,000-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the construction of a 75,000-square-foot educational facility.
The Project may consist of several facility/building scopes of work (each a Facility Project). The Project (including each Facility Project) is identified and described on the Project Statements, attached as Appendix A. The proposed Facility Project #1 consists of additions, expansions and renovations to the existing Platteview High School, generally consisting of the addition of new classroom spaces, science rooms, administration space, Career Technical Education (CTE) spaces, activity storage and support spaces, in the total approximate amount of 50,000 square feet. The Facility Project also will address renovations to facility safety and security, and updates and improvements to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and facility finishes. The proposed Facility Project #2 consists of a new, 3-section, PK- 6 grade elementary school, generally consisting of approximately 75,000 square feet plus related on-site and potential off-site improvements.
