Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Supply all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to apply an herbicide root control product within sanitary sewer lines in order to eliminate the root growth present and to control regrowth without damaging the vegetation producing the roots. All CIPP lining placed shall be guaranteed by the Contractor and manufacturer for a period of one year from the date of final acceptance. During this period, defects discovered in the CIPP lining, as determined by the Engineer, shall be removed and replaced in a satisfactory manner by the Contractor at no cost to the Owner. The Owner may conduct an independent television inspection, at his own expense, of the lining work prior to the completion of the one-year guarantee period. A. Representative specimens of the installed liners are to be removed for testing by an independent laboratory. The number of specimens shall be atleast: 1. Liners less than 24 inches in diameter; one specimen for every 1,000 feet of liner installed 2. Liners from 24 inches to less than 48 inches; one specimen for every 750 feet installed 3. Liners 48 inches in diameter and greater; one specimen for every 500 feet installed B. Remove specimens of at least 18 inches in length for testing of thickness (as specified elsewhere herein) and for flexural properties per the following standards and procedures C. The cured liner shall have the following minimum structural properties: 1. Flexural Strength of 4,500 psi per ASTM D790 2. Flexural Modulus of 250,000 psi per ASTM D790 3. Tensile Strength of 3,000 psi per ASTM D638 The Contractor shall have successfully installed a minimum of 300,000 feet of CIPP over at least 5 years, using the methods and materials proposed forthis work, as documented by verifiable references. If steam cure is being proposed for the CIPP installation as specified herein, the Contractor must have successfully installed at least 200,000 feet of CIPP via steam cure over at least 5 years in wastewater collection systems utilizing the products specified herein. If the Contractor does not meet this experience requirement, then water cure shall be used for all installations.
