Rocky View County's ("The County") Transportation Services is seeking a qualified firm/partner to enter into a standing agreement for the Supply and Placement of Calcium Chloride. A.2 Contract Term The contract resulting from this Request for Proposal shall be in effect from the date of official acceptance by Rocky View County until April 30, 2026, subject to the following: (a) When mutually agreeable between Rocky View County and the successful proponent, this contract may be renewed under the same terms and conditions for a period of up to one (4) additional year and said the option to renew this contract for an additional one (1) year period, shall be in effect for each year thereafter for a total period not to exceed five (5) years. (b) For annual extensions to the contract, this proposal shall be used as the basis for negotiations. Price adjustments shall be negotiated annually to reflect current market conditions, revised quantities, changes to specifications, etc. Any price increase or decrease must be substantiated to the County by the Proponent by February 1 of the following year.
