Surface Replacement: The proposed roadway rehabilitation of Garfield Avenue & S F Street includes the removal of existing ~4 inches of deteriorated HMA and replacing with 5 inches of HMA, the supplementation of aggregate base as needed to achieve planned grade, the miscellaneous addition of shoulder gravel to refresh existing gravel shoulders and to create new gravel shoulders where necessary. Miscellaneous Construction: upgrades at all pedestrian crossings to meet ADA compliance, centerline and edge-line pavement markings, miscellaneous full-depth spot repairs to improve areas that indicate sub-grade failure, and turf restoration in all disturbed areas. There will also be storm manhole, sanitary manhole, and water main gate valve cover adjustments and replacements as needed.
