Distance AV Classroom Upgrade Bagley College of Engineering request bids for hardware and installation services for the upgrade of equipment in Butler 104 and Swalm 100 on Mississippi State University's Starkville campus. Equipment purchased and installed for each classroom must work together accordingly and integrate into their existing audio/video solution. Mississippi State University reserves the right to award the contract or PO either to a single vendor capable of providing both hardware and installation services, or to separate vendors for each component. To be considered for a component, a vendor must submit a bid that includes all specified hardware or all specified installation services. Installation Services: Audio and video equipment will be installed into two classrooms with existing hardware. Existing hardware in both classrooms will be removed by MSU. Existing network and audio cabling must be removed by installer. Existing cabling cannot be reused. Existing Panduit conduit must be reused. Damaged conduit must be replaced by installer. Installer is responsible for providing all network cable (Cat 6) and audio cable for the installation. Programming of all hardware to be performed by MSU. All cabling must be labeled on both ends of cable according to installation documentation. All patch panels must be labeled according to installation documentation. All network and audio cabling run through the ceiling must be tied up off the grid. All exposed wiring within each classroom must be run through Panduit conduit or elephant trunk cable guides.
