Diamond Drilling Services at the Mactaquac Generating Station in Keswick Ridge, New Brunswick. Documents can be obtained at: https://nbpower.bonfirehub.ca/ The Work to be done under this Contract consists of the diamond drilling and reaming of holes in concrete structures and bedrock at the Mactaquac Generating Station. The drilling and reaming operations will be carried out in conjunction with investigative and grouting work at the Intake Upper Electrical Inspection Gallery, Intake Channel Cut Off Wall, Diversion South End Pier (SEP), North Bulkhead Wall, Diversion and Powerhouse Galleries and diamond wire slot cutting and instrumentation in the Power House, Intake and Spillway, Diversion SEP and Sluiceway Structures. The drilling of holes for the purpose of grouting the Intake Upper Electrical Inspection Gallery, Powerhouse and Diversion Lower Gallery shall be as described in Subsection 2.2. The drilling and reaming of holes for the purposes of investigative work and grouting the Intake Channel Cut Off Wall, Diversion SEP and the North Bulkhead Wall shall be as described in Subsection 2.3. The drilling and reaming of holes for the purpose of instrumentation, slot cutting access, waterstop and drainage holes in the Power House and on the Intake and Diversion Structures shall be as described in Subsection 2.4. The Work will generally require that one to two drilling operations run concurrently throughout the year. Supplemental drill equipment and drill personnel may be required to support drilling for instrumentation, slot cutting access and waterstops, investigative work and grouting operations, generally from May until December. The exact schedule is dependent upon the progress of the Work and is therefore subject to change.
