The project scope includes but not limited to: demolition, clearing , earthwork, asphalt paving, fencing, retaining wall installation, landscaping, and site restoration. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all Bids. The letting of the work described herein is subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 66.0901 and 66.09 03, Wisconsin Statutes. A certified check, or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Village of Grafton in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent or more than ten (10%) percent of the bid shall accompany each bid as guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute and file the Contract Performance Bond and Insurance Certificate as required by this contract within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of the Contract by the Village. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to A/E in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by A/E in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda. All Addenda so issued shall become part of the Contract Documents. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Addenda may also be issued to clarify, correct, or change the Bidding Documents as deemed advisable by OWNER or A/E. Receipt of all Addenda must be acknowledged in space provided in the Bid.
